Renewable Energy
Ok, so right now you're on your computer. Where does the energy come from to keep it running? In most cases, coal or some other nonrenewable resource. We are running out of these resources. And plus, these materials are causing global warming. So, unless your appliances are running on renewable resources such as solar, wind, or hydroelectric, you are contributing to global warming right. this. second. Scary thought, huh? Well we can change that. Right now is the perfect oppurtunity to make your voice heard because we will have a new president. Americans have to fight back and put the govornment back on track. We need a pro-environment president. Think about it: we have the whole economy crisis going on, and if we lost even a little bit of our dependence on foreign oil, it would save us millions of dollars in taxes every year. How do we lose our dependence? Easily. We need to apply our knowledge of wind turbines and solar panels and set them up all over the country. We need to buy hybrid cars, bike, walk, and use public transportation as much as possible.
www.pickensplan.org is a great resource and an excellent way to get involved. Remember, if we all work together cooperatively, we can accomplish a great deal in the near future. ((MORE LATER!!! I have so much to say.))

They're Furry Friends, Not Playthings
Animals-love 'em, hate 'em, either way you slice it, you have to respect them.
Does Anyone Know How to Ensure Learning Nowadays?
Education these days is seriously flawed! We really need to kick ourselves into shape and figure out a more efficient and successful learning method. I think this link really says it all.

Going further, I think that older kids should teach younger kids. Traditional teaching, like we currently have, should be a supplement to this. And the whole apprenticeship thing? Classes should be like that!
So what makes a better student? A teacher, an apprentice, and actual, physical experience smooshed into one!

Anyone Into Politics?
AAARRRRGGHHHH!!!! This year's presidential race is driving me crazy! Why can't better people run instead of these oafs who care only about power?! I really wish Hillary Clinton was still in the heat; she had promising plans (Plus, she's a woman. We need a female in office. Duh, women have brains made for tackling complex problems and they have natural compassion and willpower to do the right thing. Men were not made to rule [Ahem QUEEN bees, not king].) Obama will probably be just like Bush; have you heard how many mistakes he has made in public speaking? There's nothing wrong with being human, but if you're running for president, you have to be confident and a great speaker! If I was actually voting - which I am not because I don't believe either candidate has what it takes - I would vote for McCain because he isn't gonna unfairly charge people with incomes over the average. To me, charging tons more money in taxes for people with slightly higher incomes than average people is like saying, Stay where you are, we want Americans to have the same exact income. Rich people are too awesome to be like everyone else. Ugh, that sounded so stupid but it's true (scary!)
